Following the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in London, we share an AnOther-loving short starring Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel and Elsa Hosk
47 models, 39 sets of wings, 16 Sophia Webster heels and a shedload of bling - Tuesday night was the hotly anticipated London debut of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Stripped down and dressed up, the Angels walked the Swarovski-studded catwalk at Earl’s Court. However, perhaps walk is too mundane a word to use – these models performed. Angels included Jourdan Dunn, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karlie Kloss and Candice Swanepoel, decked out in feathers, superhero capes and gilded sculptural wings.
Extravaganza is really the only word that fully encompasses the all-out, unashamed excess and glamour of a VS show. 2014 was split into six categories: Gilded Angels, Exotic Traveller, Fairy Tale, Dream Girl, University of Pink and Angel Ball. Then there was the great reveal: The Fantasy Bra. This year there were two, made by jewellery mogul Mouawad. Worn by longest-serving Angels Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, each weigh in at a cool $2 million dollars.

This year there was a Chanel VS Angel walk-off, with both the Victoria’s Secret show and the Chanel Pre-Fall show in Salzburg taking place on the same evening. This left VS short of a few angels – most noticeably Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner.
