This week’s AnOther Lover is journalist Lucia Davies. Based in London she is a features writer for Twin magazine and a regular contributor to Dazed Digital and the AnOther website. Lucia’s most loved post on AnOther Loves was the Grasses and Rushes portfolio composite by Patrick Winfield, made up of single pieces of Polaroid Integral film. From cityscapes to the more surreal, he manages to put all manner of subjects into his square structures to stunning and dreamlike effect. Frequently following and documenting photographers, it was only natural for Lucia to choose something image-based.

Why did you choose the portfolio?
Along with many others, I have been a huge fan of the Polaroid. However Patrick’s stunning large-scale grid composites present these instant images in a way I have never seen before. I love the interplay in his series between the different pieces and perspectives that create such a great contrast to the rigid structure of the grid.

What's the last thing you bought?
A vintage shearling aviator jacket for my boyfriend, which I want now!

What's your most treasured possession?
A gold pendant necklace of the Virgin Mary and Jesus that belonged to my late Polish grandma, who was devout Catholic. She used to wear it all the time, and now so do I.

What's your favourite online shop?
