Last year Alex Proba, a graphic designer for Kickstarter, decided to set herself a personal project – to spend 30 minutes each night creating a poster on any subject, free from the constraints of briefs and guidelines. She has now been doing this for over a year, posting the fruit of each day's labour on her Tumblr. Some feature found images, surreally manipulated by Proba to brilliant effect, while others comprise shapes and patterns from Proba's brimming imagination. Here we present a selection of our favourite works, from a squid ice cream to playful fruit-centric still lifes.
