It's post-Oscars morning – the time when the hot topic of conversation is who wore what, so, in celebration of last night's red carpet showcase, AnOther invited renowned illustator Damien Florebert Cuypers to depict the key red carpet looks. Here we present Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Jane Fonda and Emmanuelle Riva, accompanied by commentry by the AnOther team.

AnOther Magazine A/W12 cover star Jessica Chastain was one of the first big stars to arrive. "She's a beauty", says fashion editor Agata Belcen. "And how nice for Giorgio Armani to see her looking so lovely ahead of his show this morning."

Winner of the best actress Oscar and AnOther Magazine S/S11 cover star Jennifer Lawrence pledged her allegiance to Dior. "She looks very cool in the house's new campaign", says Belcen. "She's a great character for Dior to be involved with." Despite having six inches cut off the train before the event, Lawrence still tripped on her way to the stage. "You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell over and that's embarrassing", she said.

"It's business at the front and party at the back" said winner of the best supporting actress Oscar Anne Hathaway.

"Velvet and midnight blue are two of the best red carpet options. The velvet and gold looks great with her skin tone", says commissioning editor Laura Bradley.

The oldest Oscar nominee and recent BAFTA winner celebrate her 86th birthday on the red carpet. Sadly, she left without an award.

The only woman in yellow. "Jane Fonda tries Vunk", says Agata Belcen, making reference to Donatella's latest collection in Milan.
