Ten words for New York Fashion Week We love a list, we love a diagram. Pable Picasso once made a wonderful handwritten list of the artists he recommended for the historic 1913 Armory show, and incorrectly spelt the name of his contemporary Marcel Duchamp. Psychologists say that obsessive compulsive list makers, many who work in the creative industries, are trying to create an illusion of control in otherwise chaotic lives.
Fashion week is a chaotic time – back-to-back shows, showroom appointments and parties, travelling and hurried food stops. So, what better way to communicate what is happening during the shows than top ten buzzwords from our team? From colours to front row looks, topics of conversations and foods of choice.
