Introducing the AnOther Times tumblr, a continually updated collection of many of the best shots from the past 11 years of AnOther Magazine and Another Man...

AnOther Magazine and Another Man are titles with art, culture and thought as central tenets of their publishing philosophy; yet extraordinary, boundary-pushing fashion coverage has always been the beating heart of both magazines. Over 22 issues – soon to be 23 – AnOther Magazine has challenged photographers, stylists, designers, models, actors and artists to reconsider the form of the fashion story, and create images that defy and exceed what has gone before. The magazine's work is defined by innovation and intelligence, a constant quest for the new faces and the best new talent, the names who will be relevant and exciting in the future, the faces and clothes that people will remember for all time.

It was the wealth of stunning images that inspired the AnOther Times tumblr, a continually updated collection of many of the best shots from the past 11 years. Trawling through the archives was a revelation, serving to demonstrate the key role both AnOther and Another Man have played in shaping the world of fashion since their inceptions in 2001 and 2005 respectively. Ingénues, such as Jennifer Lawrence and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, brood in their first shoots as grown ups, the amazonian curves of Natalia Vodianova are launched on an unsuspecting world and Keith Richards smoulders, literally, in an unabashed celebration of his louche glamour. Photographers, stylists and artists were cross-referencing and collaborating to remarkable effect: Sam Taylor Wood captured dancers, styled in rich brocade by Alister Mackie, leaping from discarded bathtubs; Terry Richardson honed his now-trademark anarchic shots of models misbehaving, and the likes of Nicola Formichetti, Cathy Edwards and Katy England created stories that defined the aesthetic of a fashion season. And in this celebration of the past, there is continual inspiration for the future, alongside a justifiable excitement about the new paths the fashion creatives at the magazines will forge.
